Of course in typical fashion the concept looks best, but production isn't too bad, although I really wish they kept the sharper kink and didn't add those ugly black plastic/carbon fiber to the lower intakes, just looks like too much going on.
M6GC will always have that classic look that I love the most. Of its competitors, I kind of like the more curvy design of the Panamera, but they all look good in my opinion. Would love to see a comparison of how they drive!

Pretty sure the AMG GT4D will have the best exhaust note. AMG reigns king when it comes to their V8's at the moment.

Exhaust is where it all goes down to preference though. The AMGs sound too grunty and raspy for my taste... I like higher pitch exhaust notes like GT3's or 458's. Usually I always take a porsche exhaust over BMW or Mercedes but the Panamera Turbo S doesn't sound too good in my opinion

M8 front and rear best looking of the M8, AMG GT and Panamera. The dash is letting it down.

Black is going to be the best looking M8 due to those black bits in the front. If every different color got those bits color matched they'll all be sick!

When you see the concept next to the production model, you really see how bad the production model is compared to the concept. The concept is literally perfect.
Aren't we just settling for second best, trying really hard to justify that it looks good, when it doesn't compared with the production model? Anyway it's all we can get in the M8GC.

Well done! Many on the forum will argue that the 6 is timeless which I can see where they are coming from however the 8 is the NEW 6. A much needed makeover after 7 years (2011 to 2018). The M8GC in my opinion is a BEAST of a car. Again, wait a few years and then pick one up under $100k. Looking forward to it!

The GT63 is a great looking car, but as soon as it gets put next to the M8, Panamera, or even RS7, to me it just starts to look like a blob with no real definition or personality. The M8 is definitely the most striking, but also the most polarizing in its design. Porsche is the 'safe' bet as usual.
M6 Gran Coupe for me, although the M8 is a close second! Now if only I could afford any of the above....

M8 rear looks better but the face, side profile and interior on the M6 are drop dead gorgeous. Just my 2 cents. |

Concept is a bit sleeker and not too far from production
Panamera is old news. Amg is cool too, a bit too puffy and panamera like

Panamera looks hideous. Deserved all the criticism Top Gear gave it way back when. Just far too blobby. Sadly the Taycan resembles it greatly..
GT63 suffers from blobbiness as well, but not as bad. Such a departure from the perfect AMG GT design though. F*ing superb interior though. Exhaust +1 M8 Concept > M8, but definitely not bad looking. Would love to see the new RS7 thrown in this mix. M6 is still gorgeous, as was the entire RS7/CLS63 AMG era that just ended. |
