Best of the best, no doubt about. I will own one one day! My colleague just picked his up a few weeks ago. He was able to get an allocation quite quickly, but did pay for said allocation. Are you saying you got yours at MSRP and didn't have to pay for allocation? If so, nicely done!

Leasing Porsches, especially GT cars, typically never works in your favor. I used cash for the bulk of it and did the remainder on a loan (<3%, 72 months) since it's basically free money.

"Then why not finance the whole thing"? Because as much as I'm a proponent of financing when done right, I didn't want a six-figure auto loan on my balance sheet.
No need to justify how you bought it. Whether daddy paid for it, you paid cash, you won the lottery or you put zero down and will finance it for 84 months at 5% APR, enjoy the sh*t out of it!

Awesome !

I honestly didn't think it was possible to get an allocation without a dealer bending you over. Any custom specs on the interior ? i know porsche will let you do crazy things like spec seatbelt colors

Wow, what a dream! Congrats on the purchase. I would LOVE to own any GT-series car at some point in my life. PCCBs be damned!

It's not, I just bent over an amount I deemed acceptable.

To show how crazy the GT market is, I also placed a deposit for the #9 spot on the 992.2 GT3 list at a MSRP dealer. Yes, that's a 2024 car and 5 years out. But pretty sure I'll still want a GT car in 5 years and that's how the game is played these days.

Nothing custom inside, just standard options like full leather, bucket seats, red belts etc. They'll do basically anything you'd like but something such as custom leather color, custom stitching etc. are all a 5-figure option. To change the color on the end-caps of a wing someone was quoted $20k. They'll do anything...for a price. Granted in the GT world there are people that piss that much money for breakfast...I do not.

Since this thread was "revived" I'll post some updated pics. Took her for PPF, Ceramic and some decals. Also did an exhaust change myself and finally got her vanity plates.

If anyone knows how to embed on here let me know...I can't figure it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfKQES8-x14 The video isn't great, I'll need to take some more soon.

I just picked up 991.1 GT3. Couldn't resist the pricing and the extended engine warranty

Did you order it with the carbon mirrors or put it on after the fact? If so, the bottom bar of the sport mirrors is satin black. Did you pull those off or paint them?

Youtube...Embed like this... change to left and right brackets where the vertical bars are.

GT3

Congrats on the GT3...looks beautiful. I would also switch the orange reflector for the OEM led clear one. Makes a world of difference. That was the first thing I did to mine. Congratulations!.
