Cayman GTS/GT4 or Acura NSX?
Which would you get? Both are good looking and fun cars. NSX is quite a bit heavier but it is faster. Not sure how that weight will be going downhill on mountain roads and such vs a much lighter yet slower car. Both are reliable.
Anyway, let’s discuss for fun. Personally, I’ve always wanted a Ferrari and thought of a 458 at some point but Italian cars can be a bit too in your face and loud. |

Tough one, both great cars and really different from one another. I like the look of the NSX but if I recall it wasn't selling really well. I'm a Porsche guy, but would be doing a lot of research on the NSX to be sure. The Hybrid thing kind of kills it a bit for me, that doesn't just go for the NSX, I really am old school and am not a fan of any of the hybrid cars, I know some of them are feckin' fast though.

GT4, 6MT means you can never lose. The resale on the GT cars is fantastic as well, cost of owning really appears to be negligible once you get past the high cost of entry.
Porsche is just killing it while other companies are faltering all over the place. |

NSX is more of a flex car to people who don't know about cars. just my opinion.
get the gt4. NA + manual. more of a drivers car. 458 is fun and a great driver too... i used to have one. but yeah it is very in your face all the time. loud and all the controls are very touchy (throttle, steering)

I don't think this will last because now you can buy a more useable and practical version of GT4 which is called GTS for much less. You can even option PASM for free, which makes that car winter-friendly. I am eyeing GTS myself, by trying to rationalize based on its perceived high resale value.

Between GT4 and new NSX, my vote is gen 2 R8. Not biased, since I own a gen 1
To me the NSX is a much better looking Nissan GT-R. Just another numbers car. And the GT4 doesn't really do anything for me aesthetically. It's more of a driving tool than an emotional attachment for me. To me the R8 is the happy middle ground with an N/A V10.

Resale value aside, and purely on the fun of owning a semi-supercar, the NSX gets my vote.

If it ain't a 911, don't get it; as much as everyone loves the Cayman, its still a 718 at the end of the day, thing is plain ugly from some angles
So NSX is the choice outta these two, but I would spec a 911 instead tbh |

I do agree with your previous comment that I'd rather have a 991.1 GTS over pretty much any Cayman or Boxster. |
