Eventuri install Timelapse

I installed Eventuri intakes on my car. Made a YouTube short. I’m kind of a big deal!

Great work
How’s the sound? Do the intakes rub on the struts at all?

I installed mine plus the Turbo Inlet Tubes this weekend as well. I was able to install the front intakes without removing the CF kidneys which was nice!

It sounds okay. It’s more of a snake hissing than a whoosh. I expected a whoosh sound. Makes me wonder if one of the compressors has problems with its blades.

I haven’t noticed any rubbing on struts. I’ll keep an eye out. Is that a common issue?

Nice. Did you squeeze them through the gap above the grills?
How do yours sound? Is it a snake his or do you interpret the sound differently?

Yes. through the top. Candidly I did it more more the looks than anything else, but, I would say more of a whoosh vs a hiss...

I’m concerned one of my compressors has a problem then. Mine has a hiss that sounds like air being disrupted by one of the blades that could have small damage on it. Strange.

So I figured out my concerns are unfounded. I went on Eventuri's website, which I should have done a long time ago, and listened to the sound clip they provide for the intake on my car. It sounds exactly as mine does. I don't have a problem with my turbo's compressor wheel. All is good. Disregard and feel free to go about your normal business.

Sorry. I didn’t provide because it’s not directly to the audio file. But if you follow this link and click on “Sound” you can listen to it: https://www.eventuri.net/products/bmw-f92-m8/#tab4
