BMW blows off Peter Sauber?

Ok, so they get him to split and go with BMW, they wuss and bail, and now they expect to sale the team for a song? Latest report is BMW has rejected Sauber's offer to take them over and save the team. They'll be lucky to beat 2 teams on the grid by the end of the season. I'd hate to see Peter Sauber loose out. He's been in F1 way too long.

I think BMW is reserving the right to come back into F1 in a few years time. IMO they're worried about the direction the sport is taking and would rather sit on the sidelines and let a number of issues work themselves out. BMW will be back in F1, its just a matter of time.

I read earlier today that BMW is discussing getting back into DTM, which would be badass. M3 DTM anyone???

Hearing how BMW essentially ripped Peter Sauber off make me almost ashame of driving the badge around... Talks about sportmanship and devotion to it's racing heritage... BMW just wants money... period... might as well buy a Lexus next time. At least they are not pussy quitters AND they still make greener cars than BMW...

Toyota (read: owns Lexus) quit trying to win LeMans a few years back after their GT-1 lost and spent a ton of money trying.
