M850i 'vert with piggyback tune (traded 911 GTS 'vert on it - Bimmer is faster, quieter, rides better, corners just as well, has more room. I'm not tracking it so why not? And the wife of 30+ years actually likes the bimmer - big win on Valentines Day!)

M8 convertible - 41 years old and present to myself after beating cancer then having a record year at work. We only live once and I want to enjoy the heck out of my life while I can with my family and course my sweet Eleanor. I drove Mustangs when I was a kid and always said I'd name my dream car Eleanor after seeing Gone in 60 Seconds no matter what type of car it was.

M850 Coupe when I was 53. After my sister died of Cancer.
I enjoy it every day and every time I get behind the wheel, I have a smile on my face. I love driving it and look for places to open it up (in LA it's not that easy). My wife wants to know why it takes me 30 minutes to go pick-up food curbside from a restaurant that's 2 miles away.

Agreed but I will say the convertible makes it 10x easier to drop the baby in and out of the car without opening doors.

A. Great job/business and able to afford this along with supporting a family, mortgage, and retirement.

B. Good job/business but no other major commitments so can prioritize a car like this

C. Family money or I got a Sugar Mama/Daddy

D. Lottery winner (or just cashed in GME!)

E. I'm in debt but it's BMW or die mofos!
