Thank you! I was having flashbacks of using photobucket.

Nothing planned...yet. I had the dealer change the grille for me before I collected it, found the chrome one in the boot this morning! Guessing there isn’t much of a market for selling them?

One thing that is bugging me is how much the passenger side mirror dips in reverse. I liked the feature on previous cars but find I’m just looking at the floor with this. Only other thing I’d change at the moment is to make the engine a bit louder in the cabin, it’s so quiet I have to keep a keener eye on the speedo.

Reverse mirror dip setting can be adjusted with bimmercode.

Indeed it can be coded. There are some considerations including details about setting the "automatic mirror tilt value" which is ultimately what you want to look at right here:

As for the front grille I replaced mine too a few weeks after getting the car. I have not yet placed any ads for it. However, given there are very few 8 series here coupled with the fact that people usually swap it for the one of the other variants. I'd guess it's hard to "get rid" of it.

I love it! My fears about the size of the car were put to bed 20 minutes after jumping in the drivers seat. It feels so much more ‘special’ than my 4 series did. I’ve certainly not given the 4 series a seconds thought since I dropped it off!
