Is it me or does the rear wheel Arch look wider than the m850i? The picture is also at the angle where the 8 series looks the best.

I have the same thought when I first looked at that photo. But unfortunately, it's the same as normal 8er.

we are talking about the rear wheel Arch wider or not on M8 vs M850i, not the front bumper.

Great find. I test drove the m850i at BMW ude and I can't see how much more insane BMW can make the m8 be compared to the m850i.

If I'm being honest, all I see is the previous generation M6 in that front end.

That's because this is the next generation 6er just rebadged as an 8 so Bmw can change even more. All the specs are the same as the m5. So it makes sense you see m6 in it

Watch out you'll get flamed people think it's not a successor to the 6

I said this too in the Coupe mule thread and I also wondered why the Coupe mule still had camo on the rear wheel arches.

I'm really hoping this is the case!

This new 6er only has an 8 added for more dough.

The upcoming 4er is looking rather large, so it may step into the old 6ers shoes to some degree.

How is this not a successor to the 6? Just because it's 10-20k more?
