Exclamation Wife Forced Owner to Return This: 21' M8 COMP!

Not sure of the entire backstory. But these images and story were posted in a FB Group I'm part of. Anyone know more or where this is?

What an absolutely MAGNIFICENT Color scheme on this car! Exactly what I would select.

They did mention it has 1,500 miles in 10 Days!
Wonder what the discount is now?

The tag frame says, "BMW of Dallas." As for the dealer's story about the wife balking at the purchase, it may actually be true. Been almost there, almost done that.

150 miles a day- thats what he did with his side chick until caught.

Smurfish Blue is just not fitting on a GC IMHO.

Additional information...

MSRP $162k and change, now it's $134k. BMW of Dallas. Damn what a generous discount. If only I were in the market. Someone is going to get a extraordinary deal on one of the hottest cars on earth...

What would be interesting to know is what they gave the buyer to take it back! It had to hurt.

I assume the car was titled? If so... not that great...

I'm not sure about others, but I've been getting trade in offers from my local dealership ever since my first service. I talked to someone about it to see if they could update their records since they started less than 30 days after I got the car, and they said while they could remove me, the criteria they use is once the payoff is within 5% or so of the trade-in value.

I do wonder what they'd actually give me for me, I have a '20 coupe that had flagship cash attached, so admittedly a little different than this car, but my payoff right now is less than 77% ($105k) of the car's MRSP ($137k) just over 9 weeks and 2400 miles in while putting $0 down. Looks like KBB doesn't state a value, but Edmunds is telling me the trade-in value for my car is 76% ($104k) of the MSRP. Seems like if I was in a similar situation, I wouldn't have to take too much of a bath to get out of it.

So on a 137k non CE M8 there was 12k in flagship if built pre 01/2020 (check door jam)... with triple net of hold back the car was 122k and then take away the flag; the car had a 110k all in dealer cost.

You arent too bad all things M8 considered but still if you walked into a BMW dealer, the used car manager would probably hit the car in the low 90's- high 80's. Thats my educated guess based on what my wholesalers tell me. My contact got my 1700 mile M8 GC Comp for 103k with 153k msrp. Granted that was a smoker its still what he tagged the ACV at and it would have retailed around 120k.
