I don't know why they didn't put the 12.3 monitor in the 8 series considering they did it in the X5 and X7 and those also were 2019 releases (and the layout of the 8 series didn't factor in because the LCI will have that same 12.3 monitor).
10-4 and that makes sense although I never use the touch screen as everything is voice input (the assistant is better than most think) or steering wheel controls, e.g., change the track playing, select SiriusXM station, etc. along with gestures.

I hate the delay on the assistant for things like turning the air conditioner on or off. I know it's only a few seconds but it feels like it's forever when I can just press a button instead and have instant gratification.

Totally agree with the "delay" on the assistant but I've learned to deal with that. As for climate control, I never mess with it. Perhaps AZ is more simple than Ohio given it's temperature swings but keeping my M850i on auto at 68 degrees in the winter and 78 in the summer works flawlessly.

hah, yeah, in the northeast we could hit all seasons in a single day.

I really only use the assistant for navigation myself, it tends to understand me fairly well and the delay is understood.
