sales person recommendation to order M8

Thinking to place an order for M8 convertible but my local dealership ...
'not very knowledgeable of efficient' so decided to check with the forum members. I can do PCD delivery so the dealership location is not important.
Obviously they should have allocation, knowledge of custom M cars ordering and some discount would be great too.

Thanks!

Do you want a 22 or wait on a 23?

Do they actually have an allocation is your first step.

The idea if you want a 23 is to find some larger dealers around the country that do more business and will be more likely to get earlier allocations. I have no faith that my small local dealer will get one anytime early so I'm on the list at 3 largest dealers including one through a broker. You could probably find some dealers with 22 allocations still available now.

Not really if you find the right dealer. I've got 3 new cars being built. M8 Conv and X6M Comp both for my wife to replace her X7M50i and Range Rover which both are at sticker no mark up. My Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe is a different story. Dealer put a $25k adm on it and that's a steal considering waiting lists are 1+ yrs out and adm varies from $50-80k+.

The hottest market right now is exotics and heavy duty trucks. The price of exotics and high performance vehicles are going up daily and its insane.

$25K ADM on a 911 Turbo is a steal these days.

Most definitely especially here in Houston.

They had 3 2022 GT3s on the floor and all were already sold awaiting deliveries and each had between $50-80k adm.

That's not terrible either, my friend was looking and he was told $100k ADM on the GT3

I heard the same from some other dealers. The GT3 isn't for me as it's 1 not boosted and 2 not a cruiser friendly car.

The crazy thing is just how crude the wing looks. Really wish they would've paint matched the wing fins and such with the traditional "porsche" bold white letters on top instead of paint matching the top which isn't visible, and leaving the visible components of the wing unfinished looking to my eyes.

I like this post much better than MSRP + ADM !
It's all matter of time when we return to normal times. We all can speculate how long it will take but probably we all agree it's temporarily

Funny story I have to add to this. Over the past week my good friend went to buy a nicely equipped F250 and was shocked they where giving him 5k off MSRP, ONLY to find out interest rate was 4.25, so he brought his own finance at 2 something and they put the 5k back on the truck. LOL long story short he owns it at his rate.

It's nuts. Look at some of the listings for new F150 Limiteds or Raptors. Both around 75-80k trucks but several dealers asking 10K ADM. yeeshhh

DM me if you need a good SA. I have a Fleet Manager at a large BMW "M Certified" Dealership.
Just picked up car #4 and #5 from him in the last 6 weeks. He handled my Euro Delivery a few years back as well and is quite seasoned/knowledgeable. PDC Delivery is easy. Incentives, back end cash n such is minimal at present but he does still offer Broker Pricing on ordered cars. He was able to find an M850 Allocation back in Sept within a few days.
It is good to get a head start now, order and to 90 day program lock as programs just keep getting shittier n shittier by the month right now.

I had a January Build GTS which I cancelled when my dealer got me a May Production Turbo S at msrp.

I've been doing business with him for a long time, I'm sure that helps. Plus I flip in and out of cars, he will get it back when I'm done in 8-12 months

Congrats on the new cars. I also have a new RR on list for but my name has not come up
On that one
