Thanks! Finally got the tires in, going to see how it looks with the beefier tire before deciding on lowering it. This weather has brought out the worst in these roads so not trying to lose comfort. Hope to have everything come together by Spring.

Currently in the shop for ppf and ceramic.

You need spacers front and back big time!

Maxton front and rear (note the rear is suppose to be for a coupe but they don't have one available in US). Only realized the difference in rear lower bumper between the coupe and gran coupe after i received it.

eBay BMW 540 side skirts. It's off by about an inch on each side. I took it knowing that because there's nothing in stock or I have to wait for months to get it during this pandemic shortage. OR overseas shipping which I don't like when it comes to long and big package.

Lowered on H&R springs that you guys are familiar with. And the regular eBay side mirror and M8 trunk spoiler.

I went to the dealer today to show my wife the M8GC in MBB so she was 100% sure she wanted the M8 Vert in MBB she built that's in production. It's absolutely gorgeous and frankly made the Frozen M5 it was sitting next to look like an incredibly boring car that we know it is not. Just truly great lines.

I think MBB is an underrated colour. Look always gorgeous no matter what the lighting is and my next M car will be MBB for sure. I always wanted this colour but the deal that i got on my car in 2020 was too good to let go.
I saw it in person on the m8 vert comp and it looks really good
You will never regret it

I gave a brief thought of grabbing a G22 as a daily... having to occasionally peak at the G2x forum was a factor for not going that route. Tons of activity, but much less good than what you see in G8x. I didn't want to be associated with all that nonsense.

Yeah for the most part the G8X guys and girls are legit--- tons of pictures, videos, exhaust, lowering, aesthetics, etc dialogue.

I feel its more mature than the F8X section and probably because of the higher price point and lease payments have ruled out some of the boys.

LOL

There is definitely a ton more activity over there, enough that there are a bunch of sub-forums. It's also more peaceful since they sorted out all the beavertooth complaining naysayers. The lower, although obviously not cheap, price point likely also helps bring some people to the game. I wish there was more activity here as I'm here daily trying to get an M8 fill with my impending purchase, but my M4 is still a great car.

If you have a 1 year old M4, why are you looking to upgrade?

Well, if I can do this without being too long winded...

I've always had 3/4 series as you can see from my sig. I remember the 6 series which my CA described as a "country club car" and I'm definitely not the country club type. Then the 8's came out. I hadn't seen them in person, but based on number 8 being more than 7 and the 7 series being big I figured the 8 would be a boat of a car.

And then I saw and fell in love with this LSB M8 at M Track Days in Indy and got to drive one on the Indy track. It turns out that it's not a boat, but rather a svelte sexy sport coupe. The car was unfortunately still out of reach at $160k. Then the price came down $20-30k and then the chip shortage and covid came and made my M4 potentially worth more than or at least close to what I paid for it. Throw in some extra hard work and the car is attainable. I've always wanted a V8, the B&W stereo (which may not be a thing) and overall just love the looks of the M8. I looked at the 840 and M850 and great of cars as they are, they just didn't do it for me. Also, as nice and in so many way better than my F82 as my M4 is I just don't give it as many look backs as I did with my YMB F82. YMB was polarizing as a color, but I loved it. I don't actually mind the M4 grilles. Not what I would have designed, but they don't look bad in person. I will say I prefer the M8 grilles though.

Small world! I was also at BMW North (for service) last weekend and spent a good bit of time admiring that same M8. I am contemplating ordering a M850 Gran Coupe and this certainly reinforced my admiration of the body design but sitting in it…just wow!

Maxton design. Got the same one as Vic. It's for the m850 and we cut it to make it work as the m8 ver was not available.

Looks like the m8 ver is now available.
