Color, so many choices…

So I’m back in the BMW world for the first time since I drove a 528i in Germany when I was stationed there. I put a deposit down for a build that’s 6-8 months out, apparently due to requesting custom color. I’m a green and blue fan and decided on British Racing Green but the more I look at colors I’m starting to rethink my choice. I’ve time because my order won’t go in until March or April.

Has anyone seen an M8 in person that’s BRG? Would love photos posted of anyone shade of greens or blues you actually have seen.

I’m new here but I plan on being active going forward. I was about to order an Aston Martin Vantage, but just decided it was really the car I need or would enjoy for a long cruise, that and I actually golf lol

I'll be going with verde ermes when the 23 orders open up. But if 6-8months is true, i may have to reconsider individual.

I spoke with two other SA, both said that 6-8 months from now is reasonable. I’m actually hoping that by the time my order goes in, the BW stereo will be available.

Different greens to compare with.

6-8 months for a regular color or individual? And where do they come up with the 6-8 month timeframe? I've talked to several dealers and none of them know anything about a timeframe.

6-8 months from today. Considering production starts March/April. It makes sense now.

For individual paint, earlier for standard. I’ve no idea where they get their timeframes but I assume they’re more informed than I am.

like idea of individual green for M8 but decided (so far) on peridot green. BRG in BMW implementation is a flat color and I think my choice will work better for me.

I'm planning on individual as well, but am hoping it doesn't add that long. It didn't add that long for my M4 individual and it breezed through the paint booth.
