I am in the market for an M8 or M850i coupe. Probably a 2020 or 2021. (They are depreciated to hell by then).

A friend of mine just got a 2024 C8 Corvette. I drove it and it drives very well (precise steering with good turn in without the V8 over the front wheels).

How do the M8 and M850i compare in driving dynamic compared to the C8. I often hear that the 8's feel heavy in the steering. Do they drive appreciably better than the C8? I can't imagine that the C8 would be better.

I guess I need to drive one to decide, but wondered if anyone can comment .

I doubt the C8 is anywhere close to the bmw in driving dynamics.

My M850 in comfort drives like a dream, super comfy and still handles well. Mine has the HP tire/cooling pkg so it’s on non run flats. The M8 comps on comfort I’ve driven are a bit firmer but not much. These are large GT cars, the C8 is a pure sports cars - apples/oranges.
