Anyone been to the Ultimate Driving Events?

I've been to both X5s, the X3, the '99/00 3 series, and then one for the new 3.0 engine. I can't remember any thers. Ive been to multiples of the same one since its so much fun and now they all blend together. In total over a dozen.

The last X5 one was kinda weak. They didnt let us push the cars like the previous times. It was more of a comparo with other vehicles in the class.

Im looking forward to a 1 series event. Maybe I can get more of these....

Lol! I had one of those trophy cones from the X5 Experience.

That event is one of the things that got be really interested in autocross. I hope they have one for 1 series in my area. Are you sure they are doing one for the 1er?

that woud be cool if they had one for the 1 , but they would probably all be in manual and im realy slow when it comes to manual so no trafic cone trophies for me

I am hoping there is one for the 1 series. I have a row of cones, I want to add more.:roundel:

SlipK they only bring Autos so everyone can participate.

That's like trying to catch a fish at the trout hatchery. You're going against people who never did autox before... Remember the episode of Seinfeld when Kramer started taking karate, going against those little kids? Sorta-kinda like that... :wink:

hey papethova, you wouldnt happen to know when the events coming to socal would you? if its after may 5th, i'll be 21 so im keeping my fingers crossed!!!

No clue, yet. Looks like after May 5th since no news is out yet. Thats IF it ever comes.
