spotted: made my day

i just ran into the Lexus IS-F. chatted with the driver (as the district sales manager) ABSOLUTE BEAUTY the car!

The engine sounds amazing but the ride looks really stiff as i was driving behind him. i can see his car is really bouncy.

no pictures sorry.

but it MADE MY DAY/WEEK!!!

Theres a white one at the local dealer, checked it the other night.. Its pretty badass esp. in that color. But I was disturbed by the awkward front end and the huge fog housings. The quad exhaust is real funky looking but at the same time kinda cool looking, maybe because it was on a white car idk..

Other than that as i was leaving the car gave off an impression of being a luxurious rally car.

wasnt too crazy about the stack quad exhaust tip lol but the seats are pretty badass. its really thick cushioning and it cups you in the seats perfectly. also the blue stitching in the interior is pretty cool too to match the IS-F emblem.

theres no doubt that the car is quick without a manual. but i love the feel of driving a manual, even if its just as fast as an auto.

the front is different than the reguar IS, the IS-F's front is a bit tacky, looks add-ons and added as an afterthought

Exhaust joke is getting a little old, but yeah they are a mess...

Exhausts and sidevents actually suprise me. Entering the market first time, that was quite an ambitious move. Lexus obviously see aggression in the M3 and RS4 and thought they could try it in their design. Obviously it didnt work perfectly.

It's not all bad though. I like grille and front bumper despite being subtle. The paint, wheels and spoiler are great too. Interior looks not too bad either.

I'd take the E90 M3 or RS4 over this any day, but the M3 still has tacky things too. Look at the mirrors from front view, power dome & hood vents, side vents and rear diffuser. Interior is also just like the stock 3 series. Let's not forget the fact that BMW are confusing us by puting the Coupe front on the Sedan.
