8 series convertible version kills the sleekness of the coupe
I saw both in my neighborhood and the coupe looks so much better from the back due to how the roof flows into the back. The convertible version makes it look too squarish from the back

I agree the fastback look is much needed. I understand the convertible but too many compromises, the worse is the cowl shake and flex over the coupe.

I've got the coupe, but I'd still take the convertible it still looks great, but no need as we have the JCW in convertible.
