+1........also depends on Body Part. I don't really think you can over-train a body part. I think what does you in is over-training the Central Nervous System.

Smaller groups I may hit every 3-4 days. Larger groups like doing squats or deadlifts...I may train once every 6-7 days. I have found this to work for me.

Chest - every 4 days

Arms - every 3 days

Shoulders - every 4 days because of heavy OHP.

Back - Every 5 days. If I hit heavy deadlifts...I move my next workout to 6 days later.

Legs - Every 6 days

Calves - Every 3-4 days

Abs - Every other day. Alternate upper then lower. I used to never train abs until about 2 years ago.

Forearms - Every 4 days

Got back in the gym yesterday after a long 4 day weekend. Definitely added a few unwanted lbs (too many beers haha) so I am glad to be back. Should have the extra weight off me by the end of the week then hopefully hit the beach this weekend!

Had a solid back/tri day yesterday, but felt a little soft if you know what I mean. Shoulder/biceps today after work, pumped up!!!!

On a separate note, I have a desk job so I'd usually be sitting for long period of time unless I am on travel in which case I am usually on my feet the majority of the time. I'd go on walks an shit to break up the day, but still hated sitting for so long. I got a standing desk back in January and I love the thing. Probably spend 4-5 hrs of my 8-10hr work day standing now and it is great. Especially post lunch where I am feeling a little sluggish, standing will take that right out of me and I like to think it helps me digest my food as well. Haven't really researched the health benefits, but just based on how I feel I'd recommend them to anyone in the same shoes!

my job consist of sitting for like 95% of the day. the other 5% is going out into the yard and swinging valves and realigning other movements. so pretty much I eat all day when I sit but it's healthy foods...meh thinks?! but I feel ever since leaving the communications industry where I would burn calories from morning til night due to the hot/cold/snowy days at my current job anything I eat is pretty much stored and used for my gym sessions in the evening. totally felt the difference when I made that change since I really didn't have much of any carbs when it was gym time after working all day

Damn 95% sitting sounds b r u t a l. I get legs aches every hour on the hour, not sure why, but standing up always alleviates it and also keeps me trucking haha. Feel it helps me digest my food too. Not for everyone I'm sure, but I am a big fan.

I also have a desk job, but I've had a stand-up station for 5 or 6 years now, and I also spend half the day standing and about half sitting. Makes a huge difference.

I have a stand up station as well. My job affords me the opportunity to be at my desk as long as I like...or out in the plant walking as much as I want. I usually split it up 50/50. Since I workout in the morning, I do all my office work in the morning.

Then about 10:00am on...I am out in the plant doing something.

Meh...it's just a little water weight. You will drop that in no time.

My diet is starting to show new things day to day. After showering this morning after my workout, I have striations starting to come out in my Pecs!!

Plus I hit a new 1RM on Incline bench....335lbs!! Everything just felt good and the planets were aligned I guess. My working sets were up to 275lbs.

When finished as they went so easy, I pulled the quarter and added a 45 and did 315 for 1...then added another dime on either side and hit that for 1. Figured I would cut it there and not push my luck.

I agree, I feel a lot better after getting my standing desk back in January. I tend to split the time about evenly as well.

Nice! I'm looking into another job down your way and this will be how my time will be spent as well which I am looking forward to if all works out.

Yeah I'm sure it'll all go fast, not worried about it in the slightest.

That is big time news, it's sweet when you start to see the results in the mirror. No better feeling.

I've seen your paused 330 flat bench. Maybe it was 335. But you made it look easy.

Incline isn't really that bad if you train it specifically. Plus I naturally have strong shoulders. I honestly feel like if I tried, I could incline bench more than I flat bench if I trained it specifically.

Bro, that's the best workout for forearms! But remember, you have to do both arms not just one lol
