Local Exotics!

So as the community I live in has grown. More people with more money seem to have come flocking. Homes around here at between $680,000 for a stripper and the upwards of 2 million for a luxury place. What exotics have you seen in your community?

Around here we have:
S5
GranTurismo S (I believe)
R8
A plethora of E350's
E320
Camaro SS/Z28
SC 430
GL 450
ML 500
850 Ci V12
635 Ci
M3
L6
944
928
911
Tons more too!

Here, within the blissful pastoral roams of southern Oregon, well away from the hustle-and-bustle of prosaic gray metropolitan views, aside from the everyday bimmers, the occasional AMG, the single 135i:wink:, I have recently ogled a brand-new Ferrari F430, a Ferrari F430 spider plus an orange Lamborghini Gallardo vert, all gorgeous, all rare, particularly within these domains. As there is a 135 at my local dealer, there are at least as many Ferrari's in the valley as 135's.

I'd say its pretty special. The funny thing is, I see most of the cars on Heinzftw's list on a daily basis. Here in Germany, some of those are fairly normal cars especially the Mercedes and Porches. There are three 8 series BMWs around and four 135i's, all owned by service members.

I live in Willow Glen. Basically a rich suburb area of San Jose. Were not rich though! Bought our house 20 years ago for $160,000. Now it's worth 1 million.
As for a few more in the neighborhood:
Shelby GT350
Datsun 240Z V8 Track Car
RS4
S3
And oddly enough a 335 with an m3 body... (Will post pics when he parks again!) :iono:

I dunno how exotic those cars are on your list

Ive seen 2 veyrons, a few Enzos, one Cizeta, one Mclaren GTR (the orange one), a CLK AMG black series, an S7, and an XJ220S. Thats exotic to me.

Carrera GTs, murcs, slrs, gallardos, diablos, various F cars, Ford GTs, Phantoms, AMGs, and Vipers are out everyday.

Ive even seen this (but it wasnt on the road:wink...

My Dad owns a Lotus Elise. It's not a terribly expensive car, but it sure looks exotic. Other then that I don't see many exotics around here. I saw a Viper once a few years back, and I do see the occasional 911, but I've never seen a Ferrari or Lambo driving around. Heck I don't even see many 3 series BMWs in this area, and those are pretty common in other areas.

There is also a guy who lives not to far from me who has a Plymouth Prowler. I know those aren't really "exotic", but they are one of the most unique looking cars I've ever seen. It's too bad they stopped making them, I might have considered getting one. (used, out of warranty, American cars are not something I'd consider)

I'm in the OC most of the year, very close to Newport, so I've seen just about any car you can imagine. Only thing that'll impress me now when I'm in Newport is a F50, Enzo or Veyron.

Exactly. Same. That's where I first saw a 135i driving.

Few months ago I lived in Manhattan Beach L.A and Studio City for about a week each. I can't believe the cars that come out of that area. Not to mention the monster truck I saw on the street... It was an F650 with a 12+ inch lift. I bet he wasn't packing much and was just making up for it with his big truck...
