840i Lowering springs

wondering if anyone has done this in Europe and which springs you went for?

have searched high and low and dont seem to have found anything around.

i know that others have gone with springs from the 5er. Any thoughts??

I am usually conservative on this and have not lowered mine, but I hear from many the AC Schnitzer solution is a solid one and also not too expensive. For less than 700 Euro they offer you:

Front Axle about 20 - 30mm
Rear axle about 20 - 25mm

Of course there are other solutions, brands on the market (H&R to mention another) and quite easy to source as well.

The H&r option sounds good to me. Any links or part numbers?

Unfortunately this kit will not fit the non xDrive model. I assumed you had an XDrive car but it's an 840i in fact. I am not sure (could not find any part number) H&R and AC Schnitzer have anything for the non-XDrive variant. Also there is nothing listed on Eibach (another otherwise very good option) Website for the 840i.

Nothing...there don't seem to be any options for 840i non x drive vehicles. Searched all the usual places

Hi,

I know someone that had these installed in an 840i RWD coupe without issues.

EIBACH E10-20-043-01-22 Suspension Kit Springs

Most are saying the suspension is the same for all models except for the M8.

I'm trying to see if it would install in the GC version.

Looked through realoem and the rears appear to be the same for all models except M but the fronts are 840i specific.
