Question?
Will X Pipe alone be helpful? For M8?
I have sent an inquiry to FI Exhaust in regards to catless ultra high flow downpipes. See here:

Unfortunately not a good idea with a topless car!
Just curious about the gains one gets with X Piping it?! Vic55 noushy r33_RGSport limeypride ?!!! Nothing!? I just want a little extra volume, pops and them sweet crackles, that's all

Here is my IG post on M8 GC that I've done with just secondary cat delete.

It adds volume.
Kinda hard to capture it with a phone.

Soooma I dont have any experience with a modded exhaust and a convertible M8 but I definitely have some tangible thoughts with the F90. Seeing that you want a full system but would consider a quick fix thats EASILY reversible; I would pull the center resonators (mid pipe area) and have a weld shop install a proper straight- not X- pipe. I know several F90's that have done just this and the increase in decibels and pops is very very noticeable. The beauty of this mod is its very cheap and easily can be pulled if you dont like it. The X pipe would be fine too but less noise with the restriction by design.

Not the best video and not my car obviously but this car has stock cans and downpipes- the only mod is the center section was made straight.

Reviving this thread as I am curious if an x-pipe is available, now that the software updates seem to be affecting the exhaust sound. Exploring my options...

Is the secondary cat delete downpipe option difficult to install? I watched a video on the full replacement and it looked brutal. Looking for something that is not hard to reverse.
