I've seen frozen dark silver in person a few times.

2020 or 2021?
Base or comp?
Custom or "off the lot"?

Target discount will depend on multiple factors.

To add some perspective I just put in a custom build order for 2021 M8GC Comp at 8% off MSRP before incentives. Not the best discount but good for dealerships in my market. And so that's another criteria to consider; Target discount in your market/city.

2020 M8GC on a dealer lot. I can travel anywhere to secure the deal

2020 M8GC
For 2020 I would recommend at least 15% off MSRP. Based on other build factors and location, we have seen up to around 25% in bimmerpost forums

On GCs? I think you're referring to Coupes and Verts--the GC hasn't seen those kind of discounts as far as I know... I certainly didn't but, of course, things move on.

Supply and demand I suspect.

15% might be doable by now. I got 10 plus incentives wayyyy back when I rushed headlong to sell my '20 M5 Comp and get into the M8C GC... and I landed my favorite car ever. Worth every penny then and still is.

Nope... 10% still good 12% is the max I have seen on GC, the 25% off on Coupe is pure S talk.. Conv 22% and now there is limited inventory of the cars that they can go that deep (hence not of conv on the country but the cars that BMW is giving the rebates to the dealers to move)

Ok. So it's status quo on the GCs.

With a broker u can do 15% off easy on a 2020 GC. And yea limeypride is correct the 20-25% we've seen quoted in this forum were all coupes not GC

You got yours earlier in the year and it comes with an individual special paint. That 10% off MSRP was a darn good deal for your car. As we are approaching fall and 2021's are beginning to arrive dealer lots, 15% should be doable on 2020 especially on a non individual build.

I had a broker offer me 10% off MSRP on a custom build 2021 M8GC but I went with my local dealer on 8% off. For a 2020 off a dealers lot now 2021's are beginning to come in...15% should be doable.

The 20% assumption on coupes was made based on offers we have seen on this forum. There have been multiple offers in that range unless they are all lying.

15% off on a GC now a days is almost impossible, unless they have a launch car (ugly interiors etc..)

20% on coupes again same thing launch cars and most of them comp pack and a lot of those deals are gone.. and 25% never seem one, the closes 24% on a Conv thats about it

Well u do have a point since there are no 2021 coupes and convertible for MY2021 in US then yea, the demand for 2020 could cause a challenge in getting good discounts...but for a 2020 GC I still think with a broker u can get 15%

26%'er here on mine a month ago! 2020 Vert loaded! Yes launch model RED/TAN!
Sticker 163K sale price 120K after 3K final rebate!! (Dealership gets it back) and sold car for 123K, but they are getting 3K anyways! Not me!

But I believe that was unusual and SA sold me an M5 2 years ago and he's a great guy!
