Consider assuming a lease and buying it out if price is a leading priority: https://www.swapalease.com/mobile/le...?salid=1528935

I'm not suggesting this example is a good one, merely that there are other ways of getting into an M8 vert.

Thanks Limey, appreciate the guidance. I've been searching cars, autotempest, lease swap, and even keeping an eye on the classifieds on here for a year now. Problem is me - I'm being way too picky with colors/options :/

And this $160k, one year old car is exactly what you want? If not, why wouldn't you just order exactly what you want?

Just like purchasing a house right now here in Florida you are better buying new and waiting on delivery. Much better value.

I did see one exception this weekend. Criswell Chevrolet in MD has a 2022 M850 with 7,000 miles listed for $107,000.00 car is loaded up. I passed because my wife convinced me that it was missing the 2 tone interior and it had the blacked out trim option which I hate. Hey! Who’s to argue with the wife when she is on your side.

My wife just picked up a 2022 M850 GC about 2 weeks ago from a dealer in Northern California (new with <50 miles) that was loaded up and had the 2 tone interior. Looks amazing and I think we came out ok on it, a little more than $5K under MSRP (we didn't have any loyalty or other rebates). We thought about ordering new but seeing how MY23 didn't bring any changes and would have to wait a bit, we jumped on the one on the lot.

Congrats. Anything under MSRP is a great deal these days. Welcome to our little club

Haha isn't that the truth. And thanks!! I am waiting for my i4 M50 which should arrive at the dealer in the next few days per the client advisor. I wished it arrived sooner to do a double delivery, but close enough. Hoping to do a combined post for both, so more pics to come. Here's a quick iPhone teaser at the dealership and in my garage.

Depends on the year, .0019 for 2023, .0021 for 2024. I just got access to an M8GC for 12% off with buy-rate money factor, tempted to take it for myself, hah!

The car whisperer speaks. I say that with not only jest but the absolute fact that Vic55 has educated me beyond belief in the car world. It's not my realm whatsoever but it is without a doubt his. 👍

Just picked up a used 2022 Marina Blue M8 Competition Convertible

Think I got a great deal!

9,200 Miles CPO until 2027, all maintenance and brakes, Carbon Fiber Grill, Side Skirts, Mirrors, Tail Vents.

$108K.

Gave me $20K over cost on my 2nd of 3 year leased 2021 IOMGM M3, so it was only $88K plus taxes. I couldn't say no!

I see they have $3k cash for 8 series again in August....and I see a $1500 loyalty, too. Are these stackable on a lease or is just one or the other?

Where did you see the $3000 cash for 8 series?

I noticed in the M8 pricing thread someone post they got $4500 in loyalty. I wonder if that's just the dealer stacking the two and acting like they're awesome for giving extra loyalty?
