I've had those on our X3 best tire for sure for all season and performance.

You should specify if you have a M850 or an M8 as both carry different specs on the rear tires…
You can’t go wrong with these Michelins or the Conti DWS+. I have the DWS on my M850, drove 40k KM on them so far, even had a track day which performed amazing, great tire…. I would expect the Michelins to perform the same but I have stock sizes so can’t comment on if it’ll take 295 but probably 285 with no prob.

I'm rolling with these: ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus. I've had them on a previous 911 C4 and they were great. I didn't want to swap tire/rims each winter and these fit the bill. For me it was about storing the extra set of tire/rims. With my current 911, I store them at the dealership, so I fit that car with snow tires in the winter. I know I'm giving up a bit of performance, but that is fine with me. I'm not looking to track the car, so it works well for me.

I'm running all season on both vehicles. Michelin Pilot Sport (AS4) on the M850—I took the original tires off when the car was new and have them if anyone is interested--and Conti DWS 06+ on the Benz.
I haven't had either in rain or snow yet, and I don't drive aggressively (much) so I can't give an objective opinion; however, both are quality tires and I don't think you can go wrong with either. Sorry, can't comment on the size, but Tire Rack may help. |

You ought to keep them. Put 'em back on the car when you sell it. I drove my OEM's for several thousand miles, then put on Michelins. The OEM Pirellis have lots of meat on them, so no one can bitch about tire use when I put them back on when I sell it.

Thanks. That thought had crossed my mind. Dealers around here seem to want at least 6/32 on your trade in. So, yeah, it make sense to put them back on prior to trading in.
