Here you go! 2024 M8C GC.

I want to mod it out a bit but it’s a lease, so don’t want to do anything crazy to void major warranty items. I don’t know where to start. Thinking air intake and upgrade exhaust.

Any suggestions?

My dealer doesnt care about post cat exhaust mods so I did the 2ndary DP's and resonator pull.... Both are easy to remedy if you are to lease return in 3 years.

Lowering and spacers are a must if you feel the wheels are too sunk in and the wheel gap is an eye sore. These too are items dealers wont care about and are easily reversed.

Now I make these dealer comments in the context of my contact and just going there for standard service. If your shock blows and you are lowered--- unwind that lowering kit first of course since the mod led to the failure or they can attribute it to the mod.

Now I also run a Race Chip piggy which is a simple pull and reinstall but my SA is very cool and he knows I removed it for the service. Of course there is a record somewhere of the boost changes but only if they are looking for it. RC is pretty basic and mild so Ive been using it for a nice 50 to 60 wheel hp gain on 91. Its a good thing for me. This one should be removed pre service no matter how good your contact is.

Vic55, thanks for the recommendation definitely going to take them into consideration.

With the RC do have to get it tuned or just have it professionally installed? Also with the removal before service do you do it or have it professionally done?

Do you know anyone that has done an air intake mod on their lease? My lease is 3-years and just got it so wanted to do mods now so I can enjoy thr time I have with the mods.

you got it!!

The RC is all self installed--- so damn easy on the S63tu... maybe 10 min to install and even less to remove. No tune or anything like that- you just use the blue tooth app to choose your map or manually adjust the module thats in the engine bay.

Wheel: Vossen 20x8.5 and 20x9
Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 245/35ZR20 and 275/30ZR20

I changed from stock Pirelli's as they were way to soft.

There may be a slightly used one in the members classifieds if you don’t need it brand new. Selfish post-jack on my part.

For intakes, if you want bling, Eventuri is your intake. Pricey. Look up my post for dyno run with it installed. Otherwise some buy the MSR units that are just a filter on the end of a tube in the engine bay. Others extend down in front of the high temp rad. Honestly, the engine doesn’t seen to benefit much from it. IMO the filter on a tube is tacky as all hell.

Best low cost mod is the Race Chip GTS Black. Awesome low end torque. I only used it in Map 5, but better gains are to be had on Map 7.

I don’t think I’ve heard of any complaints from any forum members. Works really well with the Bluetooth software it’s designed to connect with. You can turn it on and off from your cell phone.

I considered just about EVERY color for this build. Decided on TB green w/ ivory / tartufo interior. Not for everyone I know, but I love it.

Picking up later this after PPF. I will post some better pics for anyone considering this color.
