The S4 is a great car. I drove one and it's quick and very easy to drive and reliable. It makes for a great daily. If Audi comes out with an RS5 with DSG, ummm..see ya later! That car is dead sexy!

Enjoy the S4!

i'm not hating but sorry i just dont see an 07 s4 as an UPGRADE to a 335. the op loses out money wise if it costs more than the 335 for what? a v8 that gets about 12mpg, and a nice gas guzzler tax. call me crazy but i dont see the s4 as an upgrade to the 335, sorry. plus the car is already a year old as the 08 s4 is available.

The gas mileage was the key issue for me in not going with another S4, but I'm coming from the 2.7T version. I'm sure more will look at the upcoming TT S4 in 2009 as a very tunable platform.

The BMW x-drive is simply not a replacement for Audi quattro. Not looking to start what surely has been debated before, but they are different animals.

Best of luck w/ the new S4. My 335i should show up in a month or so ... hope that I don't miss the Audi this winter.

I *am* baffled at the 'downgrade' comments.

Its easy why he didn't get the 335xi...

he got over $10k off the S4 and would be lucky with 1.5% of that as a discount for the 335xi (for the nitpickers...yes, you COULD probably get more than $1500 off a 335xi, but thats neither here nor there).

Don't necessarily see it as a downgrade, per say, more like moving over hah. Gotta love that V8 growl too.

Either way, good luck with it, man!
