The front looks so aggressive and profile looks amazing also. I'm just not feeling the lower end of the back. I think it's too busy but hey it might grow on me. I'm loving the new thin tail lights. Seems to be the trend for the future. Overall very exciting car indeed looking forward to what is going to be under the hood. A V10 would be awesome but I'd be dreaming.

Let me guess, production M8 rear bumper will in fact be identical to the M Sport, with just the black part swapped for an M-specific diffuser and tailpipe layout?

BMW just designs a M8 which is totally new from the scratch.

And yes, BMW did destroy MB's newly born car. Good luck MB, next time.
To each his own but me personally I think MB is doing a much better job at the moment.
They have a contemporary but at the same time elegant design that will age well.
The MB lineup has a is fresh whereas BMW feels a bit traditional and not at all bold.
Like the E-class, a completely new design compared to the older version and it works perfectly for the buyers.
New 5-series looks dull and not at all interested in what the competition has to offer.
Can't deny that this concept is trying to bring something new to the competition but I think that they should work more with clean design where lines float smoother.

-The front bumper on this one looks like it's been taken from an X6, can't say I'm a fan.
-Rear bumper is a nightmare, so many lines and angles and vents
-What happened to the H-kink? This is ugly!
- The lines on the doors, why so agressive?

Overall, it can turn up to be beautiful but I would like more art and not just design aimed towards the the young crowd and the mob.
Don't get me wrong, I like agressive design but it has to come with some elegance also.

I liked the concept VFL because it was bold and looked expansive. At the same time it was elegant and agressive. It brought new lines through the whole car. That's the way I'd like BMW to take.
For now, looks like my next car can as well be the new Volvo v60. I bet the new 3-series won't hold a candle to it

What a job well done. Hopefully they can deliver a lower curb weight than the M5. Sub 10.8 quarter mile should be doable all while driving in luxury in something that looks like that

Looks terrific! It's beyond my means to purchase new, but I love the look.

I think we found these 2002 tii Homage wheels. The M8 wheels are not identical. I like the homage concept wheels a little bit better, but these are very close. I hope the final M8 uses the homage wheels. That way we can purchase them for M2/M3/M4/M5 use (assuming offsets work).

I'm pretty sure that if either of these wheel designs makes it to production, and I'm pretty confident they will, they will stick to their respective model range, meaning top version M2 (soon to be launched M2 Competition?) on the one hand and top version M8 (Competition? CS?) on the other. So maybe all standard M8 variants including GC will get the M5's wheels and all top M8 variants will get this concept's wheels, or maybe these are the M8 GC-specific wheels just like the M6 GC had its specific set of wheels. Seems like a more hardcore top version wheel design though.

Rear end looks like a suit up Lexus F series. Front is nice though.
