My next car will be...

Post what you drive now and what you plan/aspire to get and when. Will be interesting to know each others' (fellow enthusiasts) thinking.

Let me start:
Current car: 2012 E92 328i.

My next car will probably be one of these, sometime in 2017:
  • Subaru STI
  • Audi S4 CPO
  • CPO F80 M3 (If I can swing a 3 year old car under 50k)

Or maayyybe an Infiniti.

I am probably going back to Audi as soon as next year or as late as mid 2018 (just depends on way too many variables at this time to predict).

The way this economy is going, I'll be lucky if I'm not taking the bus.

Currently driving an 06 Z4M Roadster, and plan on keeping it until it falls apart completely. At that point, I'll look at getting another Z4M (my 3rd), or look at importing some old RHD JDM machine (GT-R, Supra, etc.). Nothing new from BMW interests me in the least.

Next car:
GT350, used F82, or maybe just keep my car, gut it and turn it into a fully built toy and buy something civil to DD, like a GTI. I don't see myself getting rid of my current car. It's just too much fun and with my new exhaust I think it sounds better than almost anything else out there.

Can you share your thoughts on the Mustang GT, how it feels vs the typical BMW feel? I haven't driven the new one. Maybe I will add it to my 2017 shopping list.

I'm having a hard time finding cars with a "raw" feeling anymore.

I'm actually in the market for a new car maybe. My current will be paid off next week!

Current: 2011 BMW 135i

Next car: Used E90 M3 or 335i, 2014 STI, 2015 235xi, 2015 VW Golf R, 2016 Focus RS or 2016 BMW M2

I'm undecided, lol.

agree with NickyC, don't have much interest in anything BMW is offering other than the i8. It feels strange to type that, I remember walking into BMW dealers and wishing I could have one of each.

How is the Gt treating you? It was on my list before I ordered the M3. I think next year the Focus RS will be my next toy that or a slingshot.

x2 1M in pristine condition and low mileage go for a lot of money.

current '13 F30 328i

next addition: Cayman GT4 in late '15 or early '16

Keeping the F30 for awhile, but what will I replace the F30 with? no idea. Hoping for another BMW 6MT still by that time, but the trends don't look good for the next generation 3. It may be VW 4 motion Golf Sportwagon since VW is still committed to the manual.

Future: Really itching for a Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock but fear the driving dynamics would be so bad that I'll end up unhappy.

I have a growing need for a daily driver SUV so something in that space that doesn't suck would be nice. Any ideas? I could always take over my wife's '14 GC Overland Hemi and get her something like a Tahoe.
