I am really enjoying the CS- even moreso than the M8 but some want a less raw car and more luxury; the CS is taut and rocks the buckets but the driving/steering feel is arguably the best M Ive ever experienced (14 M's now)

I have modded my last 3 G80's exhaust wise but never dropped the primaries as, to your point, rasp city. But I did do the TFL Italy Catback (removes 2nds, and both resonators) and that car sounded really good. The I-6 can be fixed but it requires some modding. The CS also has the titanium rear box so the tonal change is different than a normal G80X Comp.

Thank you for the feedback
Love the pic
Now i want the new m4 cs when it comes out lol
Still thinking of the the m4 comp and will do a single midpipe and will keep the primary cats or do 200 cel cats and stage 2 tune with m3 cs tcu tune
I like raw cars and good handling cars but i am still hopeful that the m5 will be a good car (i always wanted a v8)
First world problems lol

All I have read from non CS owners is that the CS steering and transmission mod is amazing. And actually having it, I find the car to shift like PDK Sport in my prior GT3- its that aggressive and with those shifts come some nice exhaust noises. The single mid is a good item for sure; Im doing equal length ones cause I want more decibels and with the titanium box Ill have deep tone.

With all the tech and tuning today, one can easily buy normal X drive and get it to the level of the CS and beyond; I just wanted the actual car as when I sell it I like to see some value held even though M3X's are solid at the auction still to this day.

Shit I dont think there was one- I didnt even look behind me LOL so this one might have had the no back seat option.

From videos that Ive watched, its basically a useless rear with the seats unless small children are going in. No different than our Coupes.

The cabin is spacious for 2. There's a bit more shelf/bench in back compared to the old SLs without rear seats.

Where's the dash?
Those horrible Etch A Sketch screens just look unfinished!
I see some manufacturers are sticking to a gauge cluster with a cover on them. BRAVO !!
Screens are fine but not just stuck to the dash the way they do it in many makes now.
As soon as I see these un-covered screens I loose interest in the vehicle instantly.
For me, no dash ='s no sale!

Yes but its not the first time or the last probably

I had a 2020 M8 GC and a 2021 M3Comp and then a 2022 M3X and a 2023 M8 Coupe and now the M3 CS.

Two completely different animals--- the hammer and the blade.

I'm sure that CS drives really nicely but that GT looks incredible!

Typically don't like most of the MB designs, but I'm just picturing it drifting in red during a safety car phase in an F1 race.

Soooo

Is it good? Sure it it is but its heavy and reasonably fast. I cant really compare it to my M8 since the 8 is modded with RaceChip but it felt better than the GT63S Sedans Ive borrowed in times past.

Interior: its fine and loaded with tech and screens. I dont buy cars for the tech per se but do enjoy an better optical presentation. So it was easily acceptable and not an issue to me.

Suspension/Chassis: I drove it in Sport Plus (all settings aggressive) and man this thing is a fat tank and a brick on the road. My roads are pretty good in the OC but it was still an hardcore experience. I think if I changed the suspension to Sport or Comfort it would have been more forgiving. Its not a game breaker for me though as I like a more taut set up. After I finished and drove the same road in my M3 CS- the CS was so much better at still creating comfort while keeping the chassis very much in control. But again, I should have used different damper setttings.

Speed: Its fast- not sure if its its M8 fast but this shit moves well and has responsive throttle and TCU shifting.

Sound: Typical Hot V AMG-- great noises, barks, pops- up and down the rpm ranges. I like alot.

Cabin: I didnt spend enough time but like I mentioned earlier, its fine for me and if I get one it will be for the driveability and not creature comforts.

I did hit over 100 relatively fast and it was steady and sturdy beast- steering was slightly off in feel but did reply to my inputs rather correctly. I think this could be a car Id rock but probably not at 200k plus a 25k markup (they offered me MSRP on the spot though and I said negative). If this car falls by the way of the SL expect nice discounts and even trunk and stairstep money (IYKYK).

Its a very good looking car and while I cant watch myself drive I could imagine it LOL. As I drove off in my M3 CS on the same road I said to myself; the CS is faster shifting with the CS ZF tune from the factory and just a more enduring car of the roads whether it be good or bad. BMW has this shit down with dampers and springs along with body structure.

I want to love this car so badly as I'm a sucker for long hood/short trunk but I can't help feeling like MB completely overshot the mark on the pricing. Maybe I need to drive one.

Agree, just look at what happened to SL prices.

The iPad screen really detracts from the experience too. It’s tacky but it also controls everything. It will take a lot of time to adjust imho.

I’d like the Benz exterior with M8 interior and comfort. Perfect marriage.

I still can’t wrap my mind around that screen for a convertible. I get that it tilts for glare, but living here in AZ there’s no chance that screen survives without overheating constantly

I used RC since I was able to move it over from the last G80 with a new file ... and maybe its placebo or not (see below) but the car is definitely more noticeable in map 7 vs OEM.

I have been using the app to go from map zero (no change) to 7 and on the CS the change or effect of the new map is more impactful than going from zero to 7 on the M8.
