Coding exhaust flaps open while eco pro mode?

Hi guys,

Does anyone have an idea, if it is possible to code that the exhaust flaps are open during eco pro mode?

I already coded that I am able to choose motor sound to "sporty" in the settings (flaps fully open with every drive mode.

I used these codings via Bimemrcode:

Display_configurability_engine_sound aktiv
Display_menu_configuration_engine_sound aktiv

Is that somehow possible, to have the flaps open during eco pro, too?

I dont know of a code and unsure if the below will help you but wanted to let you know of another option...
There is a way to keep the flaps open at all times by pulling out a fuse or two in the rear of the car. Basically you start the car up, ensure all exhaust flaps are open by putting the car in sport+ and looking at the flaps to confirm, and then pull the fuses. The flaps should never close no matter which mode you are in once the fuses are pulled.
I did it on my M5, took less than 1 min to do, had zero issues, and it sounded great after. And if you ever want the flaps to close again, then just put the fuses back in. I plan on doing it on my M8 too as it looks like the fuse box is the same. I just don't know what 8 series you drive and if the fuses are exactly the same, so I would recommend confirming with a quick google search to ensure the fuses are the same.
Maybe someone else on here can confirm if the fuse numbers are the same?

But you can refer to the forum below for instructions...

Good Luck

I use it 80% of the time tbh. And I seldom feel like I need more…especially considering the amount of stupid traffic around me.
