Looks like how much it changes is dependent on each model, it's quite drastic on the G8x and X3.

Was going to do a wash and apply some Dream Maker for the first time. To my horror, I found over a dozen rock chips on the hood. It's only ceramic coated, no PPF. My 2 M5s only had about 4 total after 45,000 miles (again, only ceramic coated). The M850 snout is quite the rock magnet. I guess PPF next time.

So, I tried the touch-up route after washing ( I fashioned my own skinny brush instead of the touch-up paint bottle applicator) hoping to make the major sins go away. Then Dream Makered it. Not perfect real close up, but happy with the result. I think the visible white specks are just dust.

We got nailed here in Ontario as well. A real weird combo of ice and rain and snow. The stuff is so hard now it's almost impossible to crack thru. Snow blower had issues getting under it. I've seen a lot of snow in my 63 years but this shit is a new one kinda. I could hear it bouncing off the house most of the evening.

I guess I shouldn't complain. Except, we have some of dumbest snow drivers in the world. Our hilly terrain, choke point filled freeway system and dopes thinking front wheel drive will work for them creates traffic nightmares. I had to run to the vet for an emergency right when it started. By the time I was heading home the roads were choked off, saw several crashes. The 6 minute trip took over a half hour. People were stuck in their cars for between 6 and 12 hours last night. The city always talks about how ready they are.....and, they never are. Busses stuck everywhere (100 at one point), and when they get sideways the entire street is impassable. Grade school kids getting home at 11:30PM. JFC. And, its 20F out there.

I spent most of my teenage years and early 20's blasting around in snow and ice. We loved it. Sideways most of the time. Occasionally biffing the rear end off of a snowbank. Blizzard or not we were out in it ripping around. Sometimes chasing each other through town. We had a blast. The only thing that slowed us down was really deep snow. We only had rear wheel drive cars back then. They were great at swinging the rear end out whenever you wanted to. If you had a manual it was even more fun. We rarely ever crashed or got into it too deep. Once you learned the winter driving skills it became pretty easy. Even most ice wasn't an issue. It's all about understanding the road condition your on at that moment. Once you figure that out winter driving is a breeze.
Then I got a awd Suburu in the 80's and wow was that NEW fun. a different way to drive but still a ton of fun. Then 4WD drives trucks. Now I have a winter Saab that's AWD and I can really blast around in the car. My Saab is a SUPERB winter driver.
