Any of you have radon checked in your house?
About to finish our basement. Had readings from 7 to 13 pC/l so had a mitigation system installed today.
Readings are higher in winter, but I decided to do it for my kids health...

I would have put a sealed lid on the sump pump, with a vent to the outside first. Then do a radon test.

That's essentially what they did.... readings down to 1.5 now

I have a passive system in my finished basement, it's just a pipe that runs from under the slab and vents out the roof (plus a sealed sump). I haven't done readings in a long time but thinking about putting a whirlybird on the roof for peace of mind.
