I have 813 wheels with michelin ps4 stock set up on an m8 convertible

Stock suspension but plan to put h&r eventually

So 18 front and 12 rear will absolutely not rub? They look so close to the fender on the pics on Vics car but look so damn good.

Just don't want to get to big and damage fenders but don't want to go to small and gate myself after.

Please help.

Ben r33_RGSport got me 11mm spacers instead of 12's but those work great. I can't imagine that 1mm would make a difference. 18mm for the front are perfect with stock wheels/tires.

We got adjustable springs from MSS which are not as low as the HR's would be but I can't see them rubbing

With the wheels pushed out, do you see more debris hitting the panels?

For sure. Got rocks and pebbles flying everywhere. It's glorious. Must be even nicer for the person behind me.

He is on KW HAS.
I built his ride. PM me if you are interested and I'll send you the link to my website on it and the spacers.

My best guess is that the springs wont be the issue with the 18/12 as the dont lower the car as much as KW HAS does but your width bumps will probably not allow for the 12mm and 18mm imho.

r33_RGSport Ben can you assist?

H&R spring won't go as low as KW HAS.

And going oversize, will kill you on spacer sizing.
Based on my Asian math, just by bumping up tire sizes, you will need to use 12mm front and 6mm rear.
Now the problem is, H&R doesn't make anything in between 3mm to 11mm. And even if someone make 5mm, you won't be able to use it since the hub lip is not long enough for the wheel to sit after 5mm spacer.
3mm is the slimmest that will allow about 2mm exposed hub lip where the wheel's center bore can sit on it and be safe going 100mph.

Actually, limeypride did his experiment on going oversize. Maybe he can chime in on actual spacer size.

It would be close but I think 11mm spacers might work.
Depends on camber, how wide the tire really is at 285/295, etc

Anyone bold enough to try 20/20 front rear spacers?

Or has anyone with the 18/12 front rear setup tried 18mm spacers in the rear for a test fit?

It doesn't rub... anymore. // Note, though, that I'm pretty certain I have nothing close to 20mm spacers front or rear.

Nice grille on that car in the video!
