New Lens - Canon EF 300 f4L USM Pics!
So I after going through my bag, I realised I'm lacking some longer lenses so I cam across a fantastic deal on this beauty. Glass in amazing condition and a few cosmetic marks. All came in at £360/about $520 which for something of this calibre, not bad at all!
Just after unpacking it. First shot out of the window as a car was driving past. No processing. Shot of the moon. Quick contrast adjustment. |

Congrats. The IS version of this lens has remained one of my favorites for years. I use it almost constantly for wildlife when long hikes are involved, and the non-IS you have is reputed to be even sharper. Enjoy it.

He was a street performer.
He started off just on the ladder and was about to start juggling with blades. Temp was about -2 degrees Celsius tiday and to get a bigger reaction out of the crowd, he took his top off. He was also wearing a kilt and got rid of that before juggling on that 10ft ladder.` |

why would one tape their L lens like that.... wow. They make neoprene lens covers in black that cover 90%+ of the white on L lenses and they protect the lens from heat, dampness, and small dings.

I can see one reason is to hide what you have from people who might know what you have but personally since I normally shoot with a group of people, I never have had any issues. Does stand out a bit in a sea of Noinks. |
