What brand is that hood? Yes more pics please. Especially underneath it. Under the hood shots would be great?
Look good!

I was thinking since they said custom its actually custom not aftermarket. Quick search on the googles I didn't see that one.

This is the SCL hood. It's not vented but for 400 more they can vent it.

Did you end up installing hood latches?

They require all oem hardware to be transferred to this hood but fiberglass isn't as strong as aluminum and carbon fiber will retain more heat ( supposedly).

Do the beginning of the fake vents align with the space after the radiator cover? It's approx 18" from the headlight to the beginning of the opening so looking at pics, I would guess the vent opening wouldn't align; the hood opening would be right above the plastic panel above the radiator.

What's the weight of the hood? Was there any savings over the alum oem hood?

I went with the primed carbon and transferred all oem hardware.

The hood isn’t vented FYI, it’s strictly cosmetics.

also did you do this yourself? It looks like RWC has a hood for my M8. May get it and try to do it.

RW is a knockoff of the Gpower hood but it's far too much for this vehicle imo.

There a gap between the radiator fan and the charge coolers approx 18" from the front of the hood so that is an ideal place for the cutout. Air will be about to pass through the radiators easier as well since the pressure under the hood would change as it exist out the top. Water will drain down to the pan and out the sides like rain water coming in the front grille.
