Ha! For sure! Need to do all of the surgeries that I can to pay for this beast!

I found this one on the ground in Chicago. If I were to order an individual color from scratch on my own, I might have chosen something else. As I stated, I do think the lighter colors look better with the carbon roof and exterior package, but I have always preferred metallics to non-metallics. I have always loved the Nardo, however, and the timing was right and I think it fits the M8 really well. Quote:
I did have some older film that stained with bug splatter...we get some grasshoppers around here the size of small children that leave horrible yellow splatters and I could never get the tint out of the old film. That was on an Alpine White M6 and I would imagine the newer films are better. Bottom line is that I just couldn't justify the outlay for a car I may only keep 2 or 3 years and felt the 5 year Ceramic Coat was a good alternative. I appreciate all of the positive comments! |

Seriously, I get it. Again, if I were to go out and order one full Individual from the factory, I could see doing some awesome color, with matching contrast stitching in the interior, with two-tone leather, etc. For now, I'll settle for this! |

This is a stunningly gorgeous coupe... I drove a few at Montecello and it was wonderful.
The hood-line is impeccable, grill is proportional and classy, stance is wide , tense and sleek. Interior very high quality. While out of my price range I would have easily bought a mini version of this in 4 guise .. You have great taste, excellent choice.

Look nice in Nardo Grey with the Carbon Fiber and tinted windows. Just sitting in 8 I was not impressed one bit, it is huge and long and it is not as nice as it should be. This platform is great for 24 hour races buts that's about it. It is over hyped. Bigger is not always better and now that I think 🤔 about it I miss the 6 Series, especially the M6 Grand Coupe.
Nardo Grey is a modern classic and I hope it sticks around! M4 all the way! |

I think driving an M8 might change your mind a bit. Having owned two previous M6s (E63 and F13) and an M3 (E92 coupe), I can say that the M8 is a pleasure to drive. It handles like a much smaller coupe at times but feels big and substantial when cruising. Awesome combination of luxury and sport. Not a 911 competitor, but I didn't want that. And the power is insane... |

Over the years I have been drawn to the M2/3/4 models. All the BMW ///M cars share similar design, just getting larger and larger as they go. In short, the M3/4 have seemed to represent the extent of how 'big' a sport car I could accept on visual and driving enjoyment grounds.
The above state, I must say, BMW has really 'nailed it' with the M8. Honestly, still too big for my personal interests, but absolutely beautiful car! Based on what has been presented to date with upcoming release of the M3/4, I am frankly frightened. The iconic BMW kidney grille has been totally trashed. Looks like the kidney ate a Lexus, except even uglier. More than that, it is not even a 'grille' any longer, rather, a solid piece of plastic. I guess I am wondering why BMW has so masterfully nailed the M8 . . . and seemingly trashing the M3/4? Sorry for the digression. The M8 is an amazing looking driving machine . . . and I am sure it is also an amazing performance-wise. ///AVM |
