I know the display key has been discontinued for the UK but I reeeeeaaaaaaaaaalllly like the key. Has anybody managed to get a new display key and got it coded to their car in the UK?. I have 2023 M8 Competition Coupe.

Are you sure you want it.

The novelty wears off very quickly.

It’s huge so not very practical to keep in your pocket.

In the UK, our cars do not get remote start and the 8 series cannot do remote parking.

The key is only therefore useful to see your remaining fuel, and you can do that via the myBMW App.

That being said, if you still want one, I think BimmerTech might do it.

Yea I've yet to hear anyone that was pleased with the display key. I can't lie it looks cool.

Mine has been sitting in a faraday pouch for 3 years. Looks cool but not very useful. As said, too big to carry. Unless you have a purse.
I'm glad I have it but will be honest on my use anyway.

Haha, exactly where mine has been. I gave it to the wife like she was getting something special, but she saw through my ruse. She’s like WTF I need a new purse to carry that around.
