So it really is not an objective comparo but just 3 blokes sitting in the cars and going for a ride(s). It was ok to watch but Im not sure I gained much from it.

Having owned multiple versions of the Audi 4.0 TFSI engine, I do appreciate the noise it makes although the only exhaust I really heard was from the flat 6

if anything the 911 is the oddball in this test, it cant be classed as GT due to its harhness and lack of luggage space, Bentley on a different level, S Class Coupe closer to Bentley which leave the M8 in its own niche, this will be it demise

It's like watching 3 guys sitting in a pub complaining how little space there is in the rear.

Unsurprising opinion; the M8 is no 911 and tighter inside than the Bentley...

I swear, the British have no fuckin' idea what they're talking about.

If I was gifted one of those 3, I'd take the Bentley... sell it, and get an M8 and a 2-month vacation.

I don't think it will be its demise but it is a niche car just like the 6series was.

Anyway, all GT cars are niche cars and the moniker covers a lot of ground. Bentley, Mclaren GT, several Aston Martin models, the AMG S-Class coupe (production will cease in August of this year) and the M8.

I never understood the 911 comparison. Too much weight...

Did you notice the UV coating on the front glass of that eurospec M8, weird though my US spec MB S's all had it on front and sides..at 2:01 and 2:49 on the vid

LOL as I too could care less for a Bentley as it may just be me but the aesthetics alone are not appealing whatsoever. On the flip side I"d take an Aston Martin DB11 no questions asked. The irony is a parent at my wife's school has both a Continental GT as well as a Vanquish S. I keep explaining to my wife (whom is car clueless) for the combined value I'd buy a Lambo and a M8C with the latter being the daily driver. Then again without a 3-car garage to your point it would be the M8C and at least a 6 month vacation.
