Funny how the E46 M3 was 3k pounds and here the modern day "CSL" is 1K pounds heavier. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Personally, anything BMW puts the CSL badge on today would be a complete slap in the face to the E9 and the E46. If any car should get it it seems the obvious choice would be the M2, but what do I know.

BMW hasn't even confirmed this car exists and yet people are complaining. BMW fans really are the biggest bunch of whiners in the car community...

Most likely the M50i. BMW is starting to put more M-specific parts (like M mirrors) on their M-Performance cars based on the recent instagram photo a dealer posted.

I agree. Luckily it's not a huge deal. Especially when considering that BMW could have just called the i4 M50 the i4M as it pretty much is an M car at this point when considering the HP and the class it's in.

It isn't but hasn't been done in a long time (M Technic mirrors were even optional on ///M cars for a while).

An M8CSL powered by a 600+hp S58 with a RWD DCT transaxle drivetrain would definitely catch my attention .
