Front license plate kit

In Mass we have to have front plates. I don't want to drill any holes in the bumper. Does anyone know of a kit that uses a tow hook to hold a plate. Does it cause any PDC interference?

I used US Mills kits on my prev cars, but they don't show 8-series in available products.

I use the Cravenspeed platypus on my M850i and have had no issues at all.

I am curious if a bumper and sensors is the same with M8?

I was going to recommend a Platypus as well given that is what I used for my outgoing Lexus that went to my son in San Diego as they too require a front license plate. As for the bumper sensors, I do not know for a fact they are indeed identical between the M850i and M8 but this overlay appears to indicate (M8 on top and M850i on the bottom) that the bumper area under the grill and above the lower air intake are nearly identical.

Hence, the probability of the sensors in that area where the front license plate comes into to play should be similar. If you take a picture of that area on your M8 and post it I can compare that to the sensor location on my M850i.

I have an M8 and live in MA. I got this one:

https://stonsho.com/about-sto-n-sho-101/

https://www.amazon.com/STO-SHO-Licen...omotive&sr=1-1

It's super easy to install and holds the plate tightly yet the plate can be removed easily. Doesn't interfere with the big camera in the middle of the bottom opening or any of the parking sensors or cameras.

Highly recommend.

It seems that police doesn't bother issuing tickets for missing a front plate to exotics life ferrari or lambo. Curious if they would consider 8 series as an exotic

I seriously doubt that they would consider the 840 or even the m850 or m8comp an "exotic" super car.

Although the m8comp can probably hold its own on the road against an exotic.

In the UK, I removed the front plate holder and had the screws filled in.

I then applied a sticker plate to the front in the legal shape and size.

I've been stopped twice, and on both occasions the officers have measured the gaps to the side of the plate (must be 11mm of spare white *******, and also asked why I have the plate.

I've lied, and said that any front plate would disrupt the parking camera and the radar sensor in the lower front grille. No further questions, and off I go.
