Looks some what promising, slightly better than what I thought it would be (didn't have high hopes)

Meh...why does this have the name TopGear?

If it doesn't have Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May then it is not TopGear.

Looks pretty lame... I've got to admit. Though I hope I'm wrong.

The thing that will make or break the show is if the cast has any real chemistry or not. And from the look of the preview, they don't.

Also, I hate Tanner Foust. I'm not debating talent, he's obviously a very talented driver... but to me he's always just been a little cocky, smarmy fuck. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to get myself past that part enough to watch an entire episode.

Sadly, there will be people who watch the American Top Gear and then eventually stumble upon the British Top Gear and NOT like the British one.

There's too much laughing and grab-ass in the trailer. This is not "Jackass" with cars.

I think matt ferrah *spelling*, JF, and Alex from youtube (smokingtire, fastlanedaily) would have been perfect for the american top gear. Alex is just as obnoxious as clarkson and JF is just as knowledgeable as captain slow. Would have at least been interesting.

I remember America Top Gear filmed their pilot episode couple years ago....but ended up axed even before they aired the first one...
Seems like Australia ones are doing quite alright....and at least finished two seasons...

At the mean time before the hosts establish their characters and chemistry, maybe its better to hold off the challenges, and put more emphasis on cars itself, and some history specials like original Top Gear did on British racing colors green, cars made by the communists....

now watched a bit clip of one of the challenges....its like watching a censored and diluted "jackass"....especially the fat mustache guy....its a big turnoff for the show...

We'll see how will the first episode/or season builds up the characteristic of the show. Hope they won't try too hard and killed the show. Even though on History Channel seemed a bit off the place.
