It gives you an exotic euro sound but it's not very loud. If you want loud and aggressive sound, Akra is not the right system.
I rarely ever change the stock exhaust. I just don't personally see the value for the money. I don't like loud obnoxious exhausts; I issue citations for that.

There have been a few exhausts over the years that sounded decent, but I still didn't find them to be worth my $4000+. That was the only intent behind my statement. For the exhaust junkies, however, have at it. I love a good mod project even if I wouldn't personally do the same modifications.

That exhaust doesn't sound even a bit better than stock.

If I were to spend thousands of dollars during a pandemic, it should sound like this

Ferrari's manage to achieve that F1 sound so well. That sound doesn't coincide with BMW character though.

yeah not for 9K though.

Not even BMW is stupid enough to charge that much for an aftermarket BMW exhaust (MPE).

Thanks for sharing. I found myself in the position of asking whether the high pitched exhaust sound in F1 ... was a symptom of exhaustion as if the upper limit of breathing acoustics has been reached.

Nice video by the way.

Great exhaust but then again hasn't Akrapovic consistently delivered great exhausts ...

Sorry, this sounds worse than the stock Lusso. You can hear that unpleasant metallic undertone.

It’s high quality titanium, so there is also a considerable weight saving component. Saving weight has never been cheap

Pricey but I think Akrapovic make the best aftermarket exhaust systems. That signature metallic, raspy sound like you're driving a race car while not being obnoxious like some other exhaust is just amazing.

+1 on Akra. I had the port installed Akra on my F10 M5. Boy oh boy - it looked gorgeous and sounded even better. My wife hated it because she claimed it would wake her up on cold starts.

Haha, good question. 5k for sound, 1k for Akra tips look, 1.5k for the +20-30hp gain, and 1.5k for 30-40 lbs weight savings.

I made the mistake to buy one for my M4 to get a better sound...only to find out later the oem exhaust was strait through and the akra sounded the same...just fit the $1000 Akra down pipes and that's it...nothing else needed
