The horrible grey plastic on the back of the car

Has anyone wrapped the Asinine Grey bits on the back of the car?

I am thinking of having them wrapped in Gloss Black to match the other gloss black aspects of the car (the front grille, the side air-vents etc).

If anyone's done it, do you have photos I could see before I have mine done?

The carbon fiber package puts carbon fiber back there. But for the stock grey, I think some guys have replaced it with one of the two aftermarket ones.

I'm not sure, but I think bloozemanAZ was going to replace his.

Found this, copied and pasted:

spacers on his car.

As for exhaust I believe AC Schnitzer makes as well as Remus.

3D Designs makes a front lip , side skirts, rear diffuser, and spoiler. Check out IND at https://ind-distribution.com/collect...50i-g15?page=5. I believe they have a sale going on this weekend.

I have the carbon fibre pack, but there is still an area of grey above the carbon fibre, and the diffuser is also grey - see below:

If you're going to wrap it, I'm sure a shop could wrap it with carbon fiber to match the carbon package already on there. Might look better than just straight gloss black.

I asked the guy who would do the wrap about that, but he felt the different carbon weaves would look odd.

[SoapBox On] WTF was BMW thinking in including the asinine "greyish" diffuser on the M850i models? Plus adding insult to injury for those that paid for the Carbon Fiber package and yet the "greyish" stupidity still wraps the diffuser. [/SoapBox Off]

That said with COVID-19 in effect I've not followed up with my detailer on wrapping the "greyish" stupidity with either a match to the Shadowline trim or carbon fiber components on my M850i. However, once my detailer is back in the game I'll have the rear diffuser wrapped to negate the "greyish" stupidity. Right now I'm leaning towards a Shadowline match as the only external carbon fiber is the roof and mirrors. No matter which direction I take the asinine "greyish" diffuser will be history.
