I've been on Leasehackr as a broker for a while, but I've seen some prices members on Bimmerpost have paid and wanted to see if I can help, thanks!

I think Resjudicata meant that knowing the 2019's have $12K in flagship translating into the recommended target of 21-23% off that would have put his $140K MSRP at roughly $102K before loyalty. Hence, at least an $8K savings from the price paid.

As for myself, paying roughly $118K for my custom ordered 2020 M850i coupe with all the bells and whistles that mattered to me (roughly a $128K MSRP) may indeed be construed as being on crack. However, after over 6 months of waiting due to the first failed build I was not willing to walk away from the 2nd order to seek a new allocation with the only other dealer in town and negotiate a different discount. In fact doing so would have started out with a $2500 loss on the non-refundable deposit placed with my current dealer.

Everybody wants a great deal but in the end I just wanted a great car built to my exact specs (nothing in existing 2019s could match it nor the small amount of 2020s on the ground when I took delivery of the 2nd order last December). Life is too short and the potential to save perhaps an additional $6-8K (factoring in the $2500 loss) via completely starting over was absolutely of no concern. Wind the clock forward with all that is taking place in 2020 due to COVID-19 if I had started over in December and had to wait for an allocation I'd still more than likely sitting here without my glorious M850i in the garage.

Yeah I paid $130k for my $140k MSRP 2019M850i. Off the lot. I got 10k for my 2013 Infiniti g37x trade in and 1 k for USAA military appreciation.

Hi folks,

I'm staring intently an an M850 GC at my dealer - MSRP is $115,600. What's the latest scoop? Is the ~20% guideline valid for these models as well? Dealer does not seem to be in sync with that. I was expecting $20K+ off and instead I am getting $9500. It looks like the M SUVs are getting better pricing.

yep, if it was me, I'd get an x5M before I got a GC for 4 doors. better in every way, if you need room for 4.

That's what's great about the internet, you don't need to shop your local dealer!

If I had remained loyal to my previous dealership, I would've overpaid by about $15K on my 2019 750.

Shop around. There's a ton of people on these forums that get their cars from out-of-state. Downside is the shipping process and not seeing it in person before you buy, but that beats getting soaked by a dealership unwilling to deal!

I’ve been trying to deal on an M8 comp convertible and the best they will do is 13% off including $3000 in loyalty. I asked for 20% plus loyalty and they said no way. It’s been on the lot for 6 months and they have a number of 8 series right now.

Try a different dealership. Many out of state dealers have no problem shipping a car. Shop around.

My dealer has great discounts on the M8's they have in stock but none of them are what I want. I want a blue convertible Competition with black, black and beige or Silverstone interior.

My dealership had an m8 competition in blue with beige, but they sold it. I don't think they will get another one.

Looks great to me. Better than the deals I've gotten so far. Debating if waiting until year end, will the monthly's dip down into/below $1000/month territory.

I would like to think so but at the same time I doubt as they are already discounting these cars like crazy.

Launch Edition? If it's BSM, is it a coupe with ivory/tartufo interior? AFAICT it's only on the Launch Editions that dealers are going down to the ~20% discounts.

I’m rolling the dice on a Comp convertible until August to see if the flagship cash improves. There is an $8000 difference in flagship between the comps and regular M8’s I’m told by my dealer. I got $25k off on a $165 MSRP including loyalty but hoping for a bit more.

Same here. For clarity, if I'm reading this correctly, the M8 Competition Coupe has $8000 MORE in Flagship case than the base M8? I also got $24K off a $157K M8C. It's not Black Sapphire Metallic/Tartufo (hideous) but identified as a "launch car" per other threads.

Don't the rates change next week?

The other way around. Comps have less flagship cash then non-comps.
