That said if you truly want a Tartufo Alcantara headliner ask an Individual specialist. It will likely be $6500 as that is what they charged a guy on the M3 forum for custom Tartufo CF bucket seats. Given you said your leasing that may be too steep of a cost for a car you're not planning to keep for the long haul.
I saw the seats and the custom order. No worth it to me.

Totally understand as even though when I leased my 2020 M850i (my first lease ever so educated myself here on the forum and got a lot of help to do so properly with ultimately a lower APR than financing) with the intention to buy it out if I loved the car I still passed on a $5K Individual paint. Did end up loving it so bought out the lease and now have to 2025 to figure out one last hurrah with a M8C coupe upgrade before the kill off it (supposedly GC only for next model) or longer to get an ICE before every manufacturer kills them.

Not really a fan of tartufo/ivory interior. I know it’s intended to look really luxurious like a Bentley but it just reminds me of the caramel cream candy. To each their own. I like Fiona/black for the 8er and currently have full mocha nappa in my G30, which won’t be everyone’s taste, so what do I know.

I have a full merino in my current G05. I do think the brown and ivory looks more unique then anything else.
I've had red seats before...if the headliner was red as well as the dash, I would have considered.

I have had another look at the original post and it doesn’t look any better to me.

I love the Ivory but have yet to see any brown interior in any car that works for me.

If all the black was brown it would look a darn sight better.

personal opinion!!

I would suggest that you read about removing die (transferring from jeans) from white leather furniture before ordering. I liked a different light interior when speccing an M850 (not the one in the garage), and I backed off of it after reading the issues of even incomplete removal from leather. And in this day of "casual every day" dressing, jeans are pretty common with drivers and passengers!

Didn't think about the jeans.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that…my 328GT had an Oyster (almost as light as Ivory White) interior…the only ‘Jean transfer’ we had was when my good lady wore a brand new pair and that wiped off with a damp cloth.

Zero issue on the current Ivory White interior.

Personally I think it’s all a bit of a myth that has been cultured on the internet…..

Had lots of light interiors and never had the infamous jean transfer. Never had anything harm them. Depends where you live, but if you live anywhere that gets hot, black interior is horrible.

I don’t think pictures do it justice
This interior was in my outgoing m8 and was an absolute show stopper. Probably received the most compliments on the car for the interior

However, on a GC, it may be too much

Well, it's ordered. When I see it in person I can say if I love it or not.

Congrats. The two tone looks nice and if you like it yourself, that’s what matters. Share some pics when you get it.
Also have the interior ceramic coated. It helps keep it clean and new looking.
