has anyone tried bimmercode app on their 2019 m850i convertible?
does it work? is it worth it? can it fix everything?
did it brick or crash it?

Resjudicata BimmerCode is only to code. It doesn't have capability to fix everything.
So far, I haven't seen anyone bricking their modules as long as you follow their instruction.
But, it is way limited than E-Sys.

Also, BimmerCode is a bit behind since they are leeching the information from others coders using E-Sys.
That's why you don't see many sharing the cheatsheet anymore.

makes perfect sense. I emailed them and they said they can't fix the no dazzle headlights.

Yea, Anti-Dazzle is VO coding. Bimmercode only do FDL coding.
VO coding you'll need E-Sys.
