I’m trying to get a 2019 m850i coupe to 800-900+hp. What tune/ chip would be best and what additional options would I need to upgrade such as exhaust transmission intercooler etc. I don’t want to get it up in hp just for it to break down. I also want to run it on e85 when racing but regular 91-93 for everyday driving. Any help is appreciated!

By far the most knowledgeable approachable tuner I have come in contact with regarding the n63 tu3.

You’re looking at 20-40k eur for a mad daily driver build.

I’ve done this (748BHP/980Nm). You NEED to update the transfer box as soon as you cross about 800Nm - whilst it’s technically rated to 1300Nm, that’s not for regular use. Realistically, torque will more regularly reach high figures than HP will and it will break. This is what happened to mine and it cost me £9000 to fix.
Dodson motorsport in NZ do an updated clutch set. Depending on a here you live there should be someone who can dismantle the box and do the upgrade but it does require some professional knowledge.
On the subject of getting there - for me it’s all been about air in and air out. So intake, uprated turbos and bigger exhaust. Most importantly mine doesn’t look or sound ridiculous, personally I feel that’s important - it’s a civilised, high quality car and should stay that way. Pure class!
Good luck! 😊

I have exactly what you want. To get 800whp youll have a lot of money in it. But 700whp is doable with an E30 stage 2 and catless downpipes . Best on all season tires(traction limited on holeshot) 10.50@134.78mph. 6.80 60-130. Since that run I've added Xhp tranny tune. Prior on street best 0-60 was 2.96 after 3 tries with tune it ran 2.79 .
2.58 1ft rollout . My 19 has a real tune not ots.

The only change period was the catless downpipes. The fuel system is supposedly good to E40 but that's pushing it so I stay at E34.

Yes, (typo in my original reply, sorry)! They’re the same physical size, remaufactured using the same shells (if that’s what you call them) but the insides were changed, so uprated bearings and different geometry.

Then that will require fuel system upgrades but unless you're planning on rods and whatever else is required for more Hp/Tq then E30 will already get you to max reliable power. I have more left but that's where tuner believes my car to be safe.
