Hey all. M5 Comp build looks like it'll take a while to get and the supply chain issues will probably make it worse.

I can probably get an M8 Gran Coupe faster.

The M8 looks sportier, less of a sleeper, and with coupe styling instead of the pure sedan look of the M5.

Only feature I can tell the M8 doesn't have is massage seating but I'm already over that on the truck I have. The awkward middle back seat isn't an issue either.

Any reasons not to get the M8? Am I missing anything?

No looking back as the M5, while brilliant, just doesnt have the presence that the F93 holds. Performance is a crap shoot, while looks and luxury inside are the differentiators. Now I will say that my F90 seats were just a bit more comfortable than my F93's. Not sure what the difference was there and I personally never used the massage function so thats moot to me.

So essentially you are missing no reasons from me--- unless all you do is cart 3 humans in the back seat.

None. Absent massaging front seats and the rear middle seat being useful only for short trips and short "humans", the M8 is a ++ in all other aspects.
