I'm glad to see a few people aren't so up in the clouds.

Ya, you make only 99 and surely this vehicle will cost big bucks. But who would buy it?? I suppose I can imagine a few people who would buy one or two (because they have so much money that dropping a few hundred thousand would be like dropping hand change).

I guess it's a nice car... I too wouldn't want to really drive around something that was so expensive/valuable that I'd be bothered if it got a knick from a stone shot up from the road.

Also, change the first picture on the front website. There's so much reflection/glare that I can't really see the car!

Not sure the fart cartoon on the side really does it for me, but some of the art cars have been great over the years (including Koons' e92).

I particularly like the original Alexander Calder e9, but then I like his art too:

Most of them have been race cars, and have been raced in the art car livery - interesting that the current one appears to be a road car (reflects the changing priorities of BMW I guess). All 99 will just end up in museum collections.

Would have expected more. This one he hand-signed the B-pillar. I received an allocation and passed, I got on the waitlist for fun. Folks must be backing out I'm sure.

Ya even if it was free I'm not sure I'd want it. Sell it for sure.
I wouldn't be caught dead driving that hidious thing. Clown cars make more sense.

Is that $200k US? Absolutely hideous looking! Might as well have made a Supreme version of the 8 series.

I've enclosed an artists rendition of Mr Koons premiering the car.

If you buy the Coons version you get 2 weeks complementary classes at the Ringling Bros clown college.
You get the big shoes and the nose as a welcoming gifts.

The outside isn't too bad but the inside looks terrible. The seats look they they came from a totally different car.

One of these was auctioned on Bringatrailer back in November of 2022.
Bidding reached $333K and the reserve was not met:

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...koons-edition/

Another one was put up for auction again in Feb of this year, but this time bidding only reached $250K and again, reserve was not met:

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-x-jeff-koons/

This tells me perceived value is going down, so definitely not appreciating.

I'm surprised bidding even got that high. It's hideous looking.

I guess the old adage was true. There's a sucker born every minute.
