M8 ambient lighting included?
Hi everyone. I'm getting ready to trade out my beloved M6Comp for an M8GC. I'm looking at 2020 - 2022 and I'm utterly confused about the ambient lighting.
Does anyone know, in these years, if the ambient lighting is standard. I've seen mixed feedback about it only being included with the B&W Sound package (at least for the '20s). But I'm looking at a '22 online and I can see the ambient lights even though it's got the HK sound, although I can't see the option called out anywhere in the window sticker. Short question is...do all '20, '21 and '22 GCs have the ambient light option as standard? Or did it perhaps become standard in one of these years? Any help appreciated...I have been looking for hours to try to figure this out. Not sure how you all feel, but I LOVE that lighting. Danny |

Just like killerblackrhino says the only difference is the speakers themselves. H/K turds don't light up but the B&W speakers do.

I think ambient is static for comp and non comp---
thats OEM but one can code their I Drive and get even more colors.
